Exercise

Activity is an important component in healthy living. Provide activity programs at your site and get everyone moving.
 
Exercise at any age can improve the condition of certain diseases and, in some cases, even prevent them. Get moving with these simple tips:
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator;
  • Set a goal to walk 10,000 steps a day;
  • Visit a health club at least twice per week;
  • Establish a seasonal activity, such as gardening and raking leaves;
  • Park at the end of a parking lot;
  • Partner up with coworkers to encourage each other;
  • Walk your dog or volunteer to walk dogs at an animal shelter;
  • Turn the jump rope for the kids;
  • Take a walk at lunch, and stretch at your desk.
There are 1,440 minutes in every day. Schedule 30 of them for physical activity.
